Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using BookMyLook. By using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BookMyLook platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including customers, salon owners, and visitors.
2. Description of Service
BookMyLook is an online marketplace that connects customers with salon and beauty service providers. We provide a platform for discovering, reviewing, and booking salon appointments. BookMyLook does not directly provide any beauty services and is not responsible for the quality of services rendered by salons listed on the platform.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. BookMyLook reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Bookings and Cancellations
When you book an appointment through BookMyLook, you enter into a direct agreement with the salon. Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the appointment time are free of charge. Cancellations within 2 hours may result in a cancellation fee. No-shows will negatively impact your trust score and may restrict future booking capabilities.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payments made through the platform are processed securely. Refunds for valid cancellations will be credited to your BookMyLook wallet within 3-5 business days. Disputes regarding charges must be raised within 7 days of the transaction. BookMyLook is not responsible for pricing errors made by salon owners.
6. Salon Owner Obligations
Salon owners are responsible for maintaining accurate listing information, providing services as advertised, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Salon owners must settle commissions within the designated settlement window (6 PM – 11:59 PM IST daily). Failure to settle commissions may result in listing suspension.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not: engage in fraudulent bookings, post false reviews, share account credentials, use the platform for any illegal purpose, scrape or harvest data from the platform, or interfere with the operation of the Service. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the BookMyLook platform, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is the property of BookMyLook or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
BookMyLook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking that gave rise to the claim. We do not guarantee the quality or safety of any salon service.
10. Modifications to Terms
BookMyLook reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
